Well dear readers – just a very brief blog to wish you all a very Happy Christmas.
And to those of you having a hard time this year for whatever reason we wish you a bearable time – be kind to yourselves and remember that this awful time will pass and one day be just a memory……
I thought that you might enjoy a throwback picture from 2018 when we were still living at Buena Vista and the Christmas inflatables drew locals to bring their children to see the spectacle – as seen above…..
Norma’s Gift Shop had a special day last Saturday to celebrate 60 years since Norma opened her store. There was music and food and lots of fun throughout the day. It was lovely to talk about Norma with Tracey – her daughter – and reminisce about days gone by ……
This week we had a dinner at the Buccaneer with Dan and Larry and they were celebrating being open for 30 years ! They have a brilliant new space – a covered deck which will be a very welcome addition. There was live music , rum tasting and prize draws for each table.
Anyway dear friends thank you for continuing to follow the blog and thanks to those of you who introduce yourselves to me – it is always a delight for me to meet you – so please carry on making yourselves known.
Have a great Christmas Day whatever you choose to do or not do – that’s when you know you are grown up – when you throw your usual traditions out and find a way to make the day special for just you …..
