Yesterday I saw this amazingly colored bat moth caterpillar right here in Eleuthera – it was at least 3 inches long …
Orange and lime green – two of my favorite tropical colors !

It was not alone either. These fabulously colored caterpillars turn into bat moths – or money bats as they are sometimes called. Amazing that something so colorful can become so drab !
